At Clearwater Exteriors we replace both Bay Windows and Bow Windows. Bay windows often consist of three windows; a picture window in the middle and two side windows (one on each side.) The side windows can be casement or single-hung or another window type of your choosing. Sometimes a bay window will consist of three double-hung windows or three casement windows.
Bay Windows, Oriel Windows, Box Bay Windows & More
Bay windows are sometimes referred to as oriel windows. They also go by box bay windows, square bay windows, 90-degree angle windows, 45-degree bay windows, 30-degree bay windows, or projection windows. So, if that is how you refer to them, you are in the right place. You can distinguish a bay window from a bow window by its’ shape. Bay windows are installed at an angle (30 to 90 degrees) whereas bow windows will typically have four or more windows installed in an arc shape.

The cost of bay windows is made up of two parts: product cost and labor. Each window we install is made custom to fit the opening of the window being replaced. So, there is no standard size. The labor portion is going to depend upon the floorplan of your house. A ranch-style home all on one level is going to take less labor than a two-story home or, two-story home with a walk-out basement. That is why we prefer to give exact quotes after we’ve been to your home, measured your windows, and identified any installation requirements.
